2000 years ago, Jesus offered living water to a socially outcast (perhaps also depressed) Samaritan women at the well. Jesus said to her, "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4: 14)
Her encounter with Messiah gave her that instant healing to her brokenness. The salvation of this Samaritan women is the Good News that salvation is made free to everyone who is willing to believe and receive, purchased with the blood on the cross.
The wheat harvest and the sky represent us at the end time. We, believers, are called to do the harvest work (John 4: 35). As we drink from the Living water, let's also offer our loved ones and the ones, who are in pain, the taste of Jesus.
