This aerial landscape draws from Ecclesiastes 1, where human effort is likened to chasing the wind. Glowing paths wind through a vast terrain beneath a burning sky, symbolizing fleeting pursuits and the repetition of time. Yet within the shimmer of light—painted and, at times, gilded—there is a quiet tension between futility and faith. I see this as hope: a search for permanence, for God. There is purpose in our brief existence—why else would the world be made so beautiful, if not for us to wonder, to learn about Him, to make a difference, and to pass His truth to the next generation?
