One night, before my major operation in January 2021, I had a vision. The Lord came to the the hospital ward and He lifted me up as I was lying down, and bent my head down in the sitting position. I felt hot oil rubbed against my head. He waved His right hand and went off very quickly without saying any words.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the end of 2019, and I am still on active chemo treatment, awaiting the Lord's healing. Pray. Keeping my faith in Him.
I drew hearts to represent he love of God that rescued me the night before my operation. Jesus annointed me with oil, just like the showers of blessings in my drawing (white droplets) overflowing over me. The warm colours for the background (top and centre) represents the hot oil I felt for a few seconds during the vision. The layers, lines, and the big heart represent Jesus' healing touch surrounding me when He appeared in my vision. The tulips represent each day that I can wake to see flowers blooming.
I'm praying to God to prolong my life with a small heart of mine, to focus His grace and mercy for me and my family.
