“Be strong and courageous” were the words God spoke to the Israelites as they entered the Promised Land. They were uncertain yet hopeful in God’s promises. This verse has given me courage and strength as I enter Secondary School, knowing that God is with me wherever I go.
The birth of Jesus is the fulfilment of God’s promise. Through Jesus, we can have eternal life and be united with God again. Therefore, it is a joyous day when Jesus is born. And the rainbow is the sign of the covenant between God and us.
God promises to be with us forever. May the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, fill our hearts with strength and hope.
God does not lead you into wilderness to harm you. He leads you there to completely depend on Him. The dry places will bring you into a deeper intimacy with Him and you will no longer view Him as being far away. You will come to know Him in closeness and confidence. God always keeps His promises. He has the power to make them, and He has the power to fulfil them.
