He promises to be with me all the time – whether it rains or shines. He holds my hand and never let it go. Through the rain, at times of trouble, He is always there. Thank you Lord, for walking with me, especially through the storms in my life; and for protecting me and holding me close.
Our faithful God has worked miracles to many who are diagnosed medically barren. This is evident in the Bible and even in my wife, who was told that she would have difficulty conceiving but is now a mother of three. Thus, we should willingly receive the hope of life in Jesus with open hearts and thanksgiving!
I drew a picture of a child’s happy face from receiving the promise of the verse; yet at the same time, with sadness in his eyes from living in a foreign land. To show how the hope endures through circumstances, I wrote the verse repeatedly in the background, on a discarded piece of cardboard (which homeless people often use for sleeping).
There are moments in our lives where despair and doubt seem to be very real to us, but God’s presence with us gives us the Hope and the Promise that He is near, that He is our help in time of need. God knows the storms in any situations we’ve had. While our doubt of His grace and capability to provide for us often causes us to sink into the water, He never fails to always shower us with His mercy. He sent Jesus to give us hands of hope while we are in the mist. He will help us to complete our life journey.
