The Bible contains all His promises. Whenever we are anxious or fearful, reading His Word gives us hope and comfort. He promised us – His children – that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He promised to protect and guide us (His children). Knowing all these, we can face our future with courage. Other than that, a rainbow is painted as the background. That is because the rainbow symbolizes that God is faithful and that He will not break His promises. The colours of the rainbow remind me of His beauty.

I have chosen to depict various symbols in the Bible to reflect God’s Promises throughout the Bible. These symbols are the: rainbow; ark; starry night; shofar; olive leaves; lion; and His Word.
Jesus is the only human being who was completely pure and without sin. He died on the cross, bearing the punishment for all our sins; the just for the unjust. Through this sacrifice, all who believe in Him are forgiven and have eternal life.
I like the story of Noah’s Ark and I like to draw rainbow and animals. Rainbow is beautiful. The rainbow in the story of Noah’s Ark is a sign of God’s everlasting covenant to Noah and all mankind – that He will never destroy the earth with a flood again. God is a covenant-keeping God. There are many promises in the Bible. Whenever I see a rainbow, I am reminded and reassured that God will keep His Word (promises) because He loves us, and gives us hope that will not disappoint.
Jesus’ wonderful promise in John 15:5 assures me that all I did in His strength is never in vain. As a child of God, I experience His protective arm on my shoulders. He plants joy in my heart as I obey Him, bear fruit that glorifies His Name, and watch Him multiply them!
