This artwork allows people to experience Jesus and the angels in a more tangible way. I chose a gold-coloured board and for Jesus to glow (in the dark), as “Jesus’ house is gold and His face shines”.

My artwork shows Abraham gazing at the stars and God promising him many descendants. For the black background, I used acrylic with a layer of glue on it to sprinkle the stars on. I coloured Abraham and the rock with colour pencils. This is one of the most iconic promises that God has made in the Bible as it marks the beginning of Israel.
God was angry when people did bad things and He wanted to punish them. However, Uncle Noah was a good man who listened to God, and God protected Uncle Noah by asking him to build a big boat to keep him, his family and some animals safe. God set a rainbow in the sky after the flood, promising Uncle Noah that He would never flood the earth again.
I created this artwork to depict God’s promise to Abraham that he would have children as many as the stars. Abraham had hope and believed God even though he was nearly 100 years old and was still childless. I drew a baby formed by stars in the sky because God kept His promise and Abraham eventually became a father of many nations. Hence, I learnt that as long as we have faith and believe in God’s promise to give us a hope and a future, it will surely happen – just like the case with Abraham.
