Ruth is the daughter-in-law of Naomi. When Naomi and her family lived in Moab, her husband and sons died, leaving her daughters-in-law with her. When Naomi was about to go back to her hometown, Ruth insisted to follow her. She trusted God even though she was not an Israelite. She worked hard in the fields for them to live. She did not leave her mother-in-law. God blessed Ruth's faithfulness with a husband and a son. More so, she became the great grandmother of King David and an ancestor of Jesus.
