My artwork represents a drawing of Hannah, an infertile woman who desperately prayed to God for a child. Belittled and mocked for her infertility, she was able to conceive due to her faithfulness and love for God.My acrylic portrait captures the raw, visceral moment Satan tempts a starving Christ in the desert. Through textured brush strokes and warm, earthy tones, I aimed to expose the physical suffering and inner turmoil of Jesus, rendering Satan stylized, sharp angles to emphasize his predatory nature. Amidst this bleak struggle, Christ's gaze remains unbroken. This piece is a testament to unwavering faith, a celebration of resilience that transcends the canvas. In a world often clouded by darkness, I hope my painting inspires all to find strength in vulnerability, proving that spiritual conviction is the ultimate victory over adversity.
