The description of my artwork is based on the Great Commission. As Christians, we are a new creation in Christ. We belong to Christ, not only as his children, but we are his disciples as well.
In the Book of Acts 10: 24 - 48 Peter visited Cornelius, who was a Roman centurion. He preached the gospel, and Cornelius and his household were baptised. This marked the most important event in the early church history as Cornelius was the first Gentiles convert.
The rainbow represent God's convenant for his people.
It is a symbol of God's faithfulness that we can trust Him.
The fruits are the nine elements that portray Fruits of Spirit.
Gal 5 : 22 - goodness,faithfulness, gentleness, self control, love , joy, peace, patience, kindness.
In Luke 19: 1 - 10 - Zacchaeus was a tax collector.When Zacchaeus met Jesus, he received salvation. He became a new man as transformation took place in him.
He bears the fruit of love , kindness, peace , joy and self control. In the nutshell, Zacchaeus was changed by Jesus to serve others well through the image of Christ.
The boat represents Jesus's miracle to calm the stormy sea in the Sea of Galilee together with his disciples on board.
The stormy sea in the bible represents fear, suffering, uncertainties and anxiety.
The book of Job is a good example how his journey with God during his ordeal.
It reminds him that God is in control and his love and faithfulness endures forever.
It also portrays God's sovereignty, wisdom and goodness is beyond one understanding.
The bridge represents Jesus as a mediator between God and humanity.
John 14: 6 - I am the way, the truth and the life. No comes to the Father except through me.
The man with the accordion sings and praise the Lord God with joy.
