This artwork is about the prophet Elisha performing a miracle for the poor widow. The widow obeyed Elisha’s instructions: to get as many empty jars as she could from her neighbours and to keep pouring her small flask of limited oil into the jars until all the jars were miraculously filled. The widow was then able to sell the oil to pay off her husband’s debts and to save her sons from slavery. This is a powerful testimony of overcoming adversity where God can use one's limited resources, obedience and faith to perform a miracle of provision.
