I was inspired by Isaiah 43:2-3a during quiet time to put the vision I saw into this artwork. It was painted using a combination of watercolour and black chinese ink on cold-pressed paper. Blue depicts waters, with every stroke takes the shape like a fish or wave. Red depicts fire, and every stroke like a tongue of flame. Jesus is holding onto the child/girl (you and I), walking forward, unharmed by all. Waters and fire parted in His presence, and His light dispels all darkness. Therefore, fear not, for our Lord God is with us!
