Foil Embossing Workshop


Create an emblem using the technique of Foil Embossing on special metal foil sheets. If you have a design that you would like to be imprinted, bring a pre-printed picture along as a reference, or simply create your own designs or be inspired by the images from the artworks around you for your embossing project. Participants will have a framed embossed emblem as a personal keepsake or present it as a gift of blessing to someone!

Materials will be provided.

About the Workshop Facilitators

Ho Kar Hui Shirley holds academic degrees in both Fine Art and Art Education, and shares her passion for art with children, teenagers, adults and special needs group.  She has participated in art exhibitions and has won art awards, and invited as a judge in art competitions. She manages ART VESSELS (serving with various art educators/practitioners) that runs art programmes for juvenile and nursing homes, and family shelter. Shirley has also been commissioned by public and private sectors to create artworks and projects that centred on inspiring hope and life to the wider community.

Yu Tsz Hsin Geraldine graduated with a Master Degree from London Institute Chelsea College of Art and Design in Fine Art Painting in 1995. For over 20 years, she has been involved in art education for children and adults, and has also held several art exhibitions in different countries, including Taiwan, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. The most recent exhibition she participated in was “BLESS ASIA” Exhibition held in Hong Kong in December 2017.  Her passion has always been painting and she hopes to spread positive values and hope in life through her artworks and the art lessons she conducts.
