When Jesus is with us, there is peace, harmony and reconciliation, overcoming barriers of race or gender. The dove with olive branch signifies love and peace. It depicts the bible story of Noah and the end of Flood. God’s covenant with Noah promises that there would be no future flood to destroy the earth again.
Jesus uses the Holy Communion(bread and wine) to express His love by healing and making us whole. As we partake, we remember Jesus’s body that was broken for our wholeness, and His blood shed to remove our sins, signifying peace and reconciliation for humanity.
