Genesis 33 shows us Jacob and Esau reunited after years of Jacob running away from home. In the past, Jacob stole Esau’s blessing from Isaac by pretending to be him by putting on Esau’s cloak and lamb hair all over his body and when Esau came back from the hunt and prepared a meal for Isaac, he found out that Jacob received Isaac’s blessings which made Esau want to kill Jacob. Despite the past events that they had, Esau hugged Jacob and forgot everything that had happened instead of seeking revenge for what he had done to Him . This scene showed us the peace and reconciliation between two siblings and instead of bringing up the past, Esau decided to forgive Jacob.
